JUDGING PROCESS

Judging for this contest will be done by those listed in the judges section above, each judge will vote for three deviations which they believe are deserving of a place, ranking their choices 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

1st place vote = 3 points
2nd place vote = 2 points
3rd place vote = 1 point

The three entries with the highest scores will win.

THEME: "Animal Costumes" - Draw your favourite naruto ninja's wearing animal costumes (no limit to number of character in entry)
MEDIA: Drawing, Cosplay, Photography
ENTRIES: 2 entries max per contestant
DEADLINE: 1st December 2011

RULES

Must be a member of Naruto-Fans-United to enter
Entry must be new art made for this contest (we will check)
Please mention in your Artist Description the contest and the group
NO  linearts, wips, memes, ID's, blurry/dark/poor scans or photography, photo-manipulations or screen-caps
Entry must not break any Naruto-Fans-United rules or DA polices
Don't ask judges for vote anyone caught doing this will be disqualified

BE CREATIVE: DO NOT draw the Jinchuuriki in their tailed beast costume (be creative and original)

ANIMAL COSTUME QUESTION

Ok i've had a few people bring this up, so i'm going to clarify what animals can be drawn for the comp.

Existing animals   This means any animals currently existing in the world eg. Cats, Dogs, Birds, Bugs, Fish etc
Extinct Animals This means any animals that existed in the past eg. Dinosaurs etc

Fictional and Fantasy Animals This mean any animals that exist in the make believe world eg. Dragons, Unicorns and even pokemon etc

Please keep in mind that if you are going to draw fictional animal costumes they have to already exist (this mean no making up your own animals)  also every please keep in mind our no crossover rule so if you draw a pokemon costume it can only be a costume so no adding actual characters from other shows in your picture (Naruto Characters Only)

Really beautiful use of colour and line quality.

Kitty Kitty Fox really grabbed my attention, with it's bright colours and line technique. I found the idea creative and enjoyed that the artist seen the word play in the competition rules. I love little Kushina as a lady-bug and i really like the design of the costumes. My favourite aspect of this piece is the 9-tail foxes expression.

I like the idea of Kushina as a ladybug, being the young Kushina it only makes it cuter.

So I loved the art style that she did for the piece, it reminded me allot of traditional art. And I thought the idea she did was really unique, since the 9 tailed fox is usually portrayed with Naruto, she just collabed him with Madara and Kushina, and I barely see any amazing artworks involving the three together. (:

I really like how the picture is set as a recording of all of them as children. And the way they’re dressed is really cute in my opinion.

Is creative to put a family photo when they were small (small children always bring suits x3)

  I like the idea of making it a moment from a home video, the sand-sibs are all very cute. I especially liked little Kankuro.

The costumes are nice but also funny. The characters Hidan and Kakuzu do not feel comfortable wearing it, I think that's realistic. Sakura's costume is nicely done, by not fully cover her body but just like a cape, it really looks like a ladybug.

Love the expressions on the characters, use of colour and overall creativeness of this work!
